Five early-stage consumer packaged goods brands have secured spots in BeyondCPG's seventh accelerator cohort, the New York-based program focused on scaling mission-driven food, beverage, and supplement companies through operator-led mentorship and retail channel strategy.

The 12-week, in-person program launched this month in Manhattan and is structured around a curriculum covering branding, investment strategy, supply chain, channel strategy, and pitch presentations. The cohort wraps with a Showcase Pitch Event in January 2027, where founders will present to investors, retailers, and industry leaders aligned with natural and conscious products.

Track 7 Cohort

The five brands entering Track 7 are Batch Balanced, Cabu Latte, Engineered Nutrition, Goldholly, and Underdog. The group spans multiple natural-products segments, from functional beverages to nutrition, reflecting continued investor and retail-buyer appetite for better-for-you SKUs across grocery and specialty channels.

Eric Schnell, Co-founder and Executive Director of BeyondCPG, framed the program's value as access to the kind of investor-ready strategy and operator playbooks typically reserved for more mature brands. Schnell, who has founded seven CPG companies himself, leads a mentor roster that includes operators, investors, and subject-matter experts in areas such as legal, supply chain, and product innovation — resources that often determine whether an early-stage brand can survive its first retail sell-in cycle.

Sponsor and Mentor Infrastructure

Track 7 sponsors include NielsenIQ, Polsinelli Law Firm, ePac Flexible Packaging, Giannuzzi Lewendon, Wayflyer, Withum, ForceBrands, and Naturally New York, among others. That sponsor mix signals the program's emphasis on retail readiness: NielsenIQ's category data access alone can materially sharpen a founder's pitch to chain buyers, while flexible-packaging partners like ePac and Bison Bag address one of the most common unit-economics bottlenecks for emerging brands — minimum order quantities and per-unit cost at early production volumes.

The accelerator is powered by BeyondBrands, the CPG collective co-founded by Schnell and Marci Zaroff, whose portfolio spans food, beverage, and nutraceutical exits. For emerging operators and foodservice buyers tracking the natural-products pipeline, BeyondCPG's cohort selection functions as an early signal of which emerging brands are building the channel-strategy and supply-chain infrastructure needed to graduate from specialty retail into broader foodservice and grocery distribution. Coverage of the accelerator landscape and natural-channel trends is ongoing at Foodservice News and in related emerging-brands reporting.
