[7-Eleven is pushing further into proprietary fresh-food territory with the BiG Flavor Bar™, a custom sauce-and-topping station now live at participating 7-Eleven®, Speedway®, and Stripes® locations across its network of more than 12,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. The rollout adds seven original house sauces to the condiment bar alongside crunchy garnishes and existing condiments, giving convenience-store guests a new layer of customization on hot-food staples like pizza, hot dogs, and sandwiches.
The Flavor Lineup
The seven proprietary sauces span heat, sweet, and umami profiles: That Sticky Heat™ (Spicy Teriyaki), It's Cheesy AF™ (Garlic Parmesan), Honey, Please™ (Honey Mustard), Sweet Like That™ (Honey Garlic), Sweet, Heat, Repeat (Sweet Chili), Ranch All Day™ (Buttermilk Ranch), and Bring The Smoke™ (Smoked Black Pepper BBQ). The breadth of the lineup signals a deliberate push to drive attachment rates on existing hot-food SKUs rather than introduce new entrée items—a margin-friendly approach that leverages the chain's existing commissary and hot-case infrastructure.
Brandon Brown, Senior Vice President of Fresh Foods and Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc., framed the station as a consumer empowerment play. "Whether they crave heat, tang, crunch or something completely unexpected, fans can dream up bold new combinations and customize every bite to create a flavor experience that's uniquely their own," Brown said.
Loyalty Tie-In and Secret Menu
To seed trial, 7-Eleven is offering 7Rewards® and Speedy Rewards® members a $3 combo—any sausage or hot dog, a bag of 7-Select™ chips, and a large Big Gulp®—through October 27, 2026. The promotion targets the chain's loyalty base, which exceeds 100 million members across both programs, and is designed to drive incremental hot-food attachment during the afternoon and evening dayparts. An in-store Secret Menu lists curated combinations such as "Garlic Parm Loaded Tots" (waffle tots, Garlic Parmesan sauce, sriracha, crispy garlic) and a "Sweet n Spicy Roller" pairing a Big Bite® hot dog with a Jalapeño Cream Cheese taquito and two sauces, giving store-level operators a merchandising tool to activate the station without requiring additional labor.
C-Store Context
The BiG Flavor Bar arrives as convenience-store operators across the segment aggressively invest in fresh and prepared foods to close the gap with fast-casual competitors on food quality perception. Leading c-store chains have increasingly treated proprietary sauce programs, LTO toppings, and self-serve customization stations as low-capex tools to grow hot-food AUVs without expanding kitchen footprints. For 7-Eleven, which already operates Laredo Taco Company® and Raise the Roost® Chicken and Biscuits as in-store foodservice concepts, the BiG Flavor Bar extends that strategy to the broader store base where a full branded kitchen concept isn't present. The move also aligns with broader condiment and flavor-bar trends seen in QSR and fast-casual, where operators have documented measurable check-size lifts when self-serve topping stations are merchandised effectively.
