Miami-based Meat N' Bone has assembled a five-member advisory board drawing on leadership from José Andrés Group, Annie's Homegrown, and protein distribution to support a franchise-led expansion targeting more than 40 company-owned and franchised boutiques and $70 million in revenue by 2029. The brand is simultaneously raising $4 million in Pre-Series A equity to finance franchising infrastructure, marketing spend, logistics buildout, and debt repayment.

The Numbers

Currently operating eight retail boutiques and a central fulfillment center in South Florida, Meat N' Bone projects $13.5 million in revenue for 2026 — a baseline that its leadership team says positions the brand for a roughly fivefold top-line jump within three years. The company has processed more than 500,000 orders for more than 150,000 customers through a multichannel model that combines nationwide e-commerce shipping, same-day delivery in South Florida, and in-store pickup. Boutique locations double as local fulfillment hubs, a format the brand contends frozen-only competitors cannot replicate. Three food-and-beverage concepts — The Wagyu Bar, The Wagyu House, and Get The Cook — extend the premium protein platform into experiential dining.

The Advisory Roster

The five-member board brings what the company characterizes as 110-plus years of combined experience across brand building, supply chain, and capital markets. Rob Wilder, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of José Andrés Group, adds multi-unit restaurant scaling credentials — JAG operates 45-plus restaurants across North America and the Bahamas. Deb Luster, founding-team member of Annie's Homegrown (acquired by General Mills, now a $1 billion brand), provides CPG brand-building and retail channel expertise. Carlos M. Herrera, former President and CEO of Durham Meat and Seafood — a $180 million protein platform operating under the Sierra Meat, Flocchini, and MacDonald Meats banners — brings direct protein manufacturing and distribution knowledge, including U.S. production facilities and Asian export operations. Barry T. Kates, founder of experiential marketing agency Innovative Group, rounds out the marketing bench. Roberto Lopez, CEO of RRA Group and Meat N' Bone's first institutional investor, stays on in a formal advisory capacity focused on capital and governance.

"This board of advisors represents exactly the right blend of brand-building prowess, hospitality expertise, supply-chain mastery, and capital discipline we need to establish Meat N' Bone as America's premium protein leader," said Luis Mata, CEO of Meat N' Bone.

Market Context

Meat N' Bone is positioning against a fragmented premium protein retail and foodservice landscape that it estimates at more than $400 billion with no dominant national brand. That framing echoes language used by better-burger and specialty-protein concepts that have pursued asset-light franchise growth over the past decade — though few have successfully bridged direct-to-consumer e-commerce with brick-and-mortar retail and dine-in concepts under one operator. The company's boutique-as-fulfillment-hub model reflects broader omnichannel plays in specialty retail and premium foodservice, where unit economics depend on layering multiple revenue streams — walk-in traffic, local delivery, and nationwide shipping — across a single physical footprint. Franchising infrastructure, funded in part by the current raise, will be critical to whether Meat N' Bone can scale its area development agreements and royalty structures fast enough to hit its 2029 unit targets.
